Please join us for a special Hawaiʻi Handweavers’ Hui program which is free and open to the public. Elizabeth Train, artist and Hui member, will give a presentation on Travels and Textiles in Ecuador. Liz will tell us about her trips to Ecuador, one recent and one 35 years ago, and how Ecuadorean textiles have changed over that time. The presentation will include textiles collected during her trips, so you can see the changes for yourself. We will meet at the Honolulu Museum of Art School at Linekona, 1111 Victoria Street, in room 101 at 6:30 pm.
Parking is available at Linekona for $5, and street parking is also available (metered parking is free in the evening).
The General Meeting is followed by a Board Meeting, 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm, open to HHH members only.
