Please join us for a very special Hawaiʻi Handweavers’ program. Michelle Schwengel-Regala, fiber artist, science illustrator, naturalist and Hui member will lead a tour of her solo exhibition, Frozen, Floating, currently on display at the Box Jelly in Kakaʻako. “FROZEN, FLOATING invites you to be transported away from Hawaiʻi to the bottom of the Earth, underwater, exploring forms and feelings from her expedition in Antarctica.” In addition, to the 'swim through' her installation, Michelle will give a hands-on demonstration of her unique wire weaving technique. We will meet at The Box Jelly (next to Fishcake) at 6:30 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Join us!
