My Life in Stitches: Roger Sheldon

Roger, who is from Chester, England, will talk about the development of his passion for cross stitch tapestry. He will show examples of his creations including a stunning, custom-made handbag incorporating multiple stitching techniques and design elements. His current project is gathering the undyed, pure-bred wool of approximately seventy British breeds of sheep. He will bring with him stories and samples of the wool of over sixty breeds of sheep.  Many of the samples are hand-spun. Roger will share the design complexities of his next project which is a cross-stitched wall-hanging incorporating the wool from all of these sheep.

This event is free and open to the public.

Parking is available at Linekona for $5, and street parking is also available (metered parking is free in the evening).

The General Meeting is followed by a Board Meeting, 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm, open to HHH members only.
