Exhibitions
Over the years since 1953, the Hawaiʻi Handweavers' Hui biennial exhibition has become a record of how weaving has evolved in our community. We are especially pleased to have weavings rooted in traditional technique; artwork that uses weaving to express ideas in the context of contemporary art; and, added in 2013, handspun works of art.
In 2015, award winning entries from the juried exhibition held at the Honolulu Museum of Art School travelled to the Big Island where they were exhibited at Kahilu Theatre in Waimea.
